Carmina interpretation of the classic Jodhpur Boot in black box-calf. Featuring a York rubber sole in a Goodyear welt-construction and calf lining. This shoe, like all the other Carmina´s, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869. Style made on Rain last. Very versatile in style since it perfectly works for both elegant and semisport models. Semi-squared shape last with standard fitting.

Rain is one of our most versatile and appreciated lasts. This last is always our recommended last for someone looking for their first Carmina pair. With a subtly squared-off toe and regular fitting both in the instep and toe area, its proportions make it ideal for casual models with an elegant look. Moreover, it provides a very balanced space throughout the foot.

Boxcalf leather
Boxcalf leather is one of our most popular leathers. Specially for men's dress shoes. We only select the highest quality calf leathers which is sourced from the Tannerie D'Annonay. We also source our black boxcalf from the German Weinheimer tannery. Boxcalf leathers are given their final colour and shine at the tannery which will improve with time and develop a lovely patina.

Tomir
Tomir is our thinner rubber option. It also features very subtle lines to give your shoes a greater grip. This sole is in the middle ground between rubber and leather soles. These soles are usually selected for office wear and dress shoes with a slightly higher use or to be worn with moderate rain.

Pretty comfortable and stylish. This is the first pair of shoes I've bought from Carmina and I'm quite content.
For size reference, I normally wear a US 7E in Allen Edmonds in a US 7.5 Nike running shoes. I tried the size 6 for these Jodhpur boots and found them too tight on the side. I sized up to a 6.5 which fit fine.

I bought these black Jodhpur boots back in the spring after obsessing over them for months. I bought them in the Madrid location (which is a beautiful store) and the clerk even stayed with me a few minutes after closing hours to give me more time to make a decision. The boots are classy and classic and very well made with outstanding craftsmanship. I'm really into leather boots and have had several pairs, and these are easily the nicest and most well made. Highly recommended.
