A well cared pair of cordovan shoes can truly last a lifetime. Cordovan Shells are vegetable tanned which will require a slightly different shoecare routine.
- Firstly, insert your shoetrees and brush your shoes to remove any dirt or dust.
- Apply a very small amount of cream all over the shoes. We recommend using our Cordovan Cream with our special formula designed specifically for this leather.
- Let the cream dry for a few minutes and proceed to give them a thorough brush to remove any excess cream.
- When you feel your Cordovan shoes might need a little extra care, you can use the polishing deer bone. Roll the bone over the vamp or other areas with creases, do remember to use the bone’s softer side. This method will bring back your cordovan’s natural shine and help iron out some of the natural creases.
