Military-style boot with straight toe in Horween Shell Cordovan Armagnac.
Finished on Rendenbach JR leather sole and calf lining.
This shoe, like all Carmina shoes, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen using the same techniques that Charles Goodyear conceived in 1869.
Model mounted on the Oscar last. Rounded toe, low instep, and regular fit.
OSCAR
Oscar is sturdy and classic, with a subtly rounded toe and wide at the toe area. This last pairs well with casual models with a traditional touch, and it works perfectly on shoes produced with thick leather and rubber soles. It is one of the lasts that works best for Horween Shell Cordovan shoes and ankle boots. Although it has little presence for the time being, this last will have a great future due to its great fit.

Cordovan
Shell Cordovan is a staple material of fine men’s shoemaking. Shell cordovan looks smooth, lustrous, and richly coloured in shades of burgundy, brown, and black. Shell Cordovan is a much more labour-intensive leather than cowhide. Cordovan shoe will age very well and develop a particularly beautiful patina over time. The name Shell comes from the circular shape of the skin. Today, only a few factories in the world tan shell cordovan.
