CHUKKA BOOTS 10027 RAIN

My first pair of Carmina shoes. I already fell in love when I unboxed them. Words can’t describe how good they are. Photos don’t do them justice. So comfortable to walk in. Can’t wait to take them out. Now I’m looking forward to my second pair in the Cordovan Simpson version.

I feel the same way about these as the previous reviewer. Gorgeous Rain lasted chukka with very high quality. Such an elegant silhouette. There are many emerging new quality spanish shoe brands at this price point. But whenever I look at those brands to purchase, I always say to myself, Carmina is just hard to beat. The amount options you get, combined with the quality and elegant aesthetic, just make them still the best, for me. As far as shoemaking goes, Carmina really just does everything right.

I am the proud owner of this very model of Chukka Boot, just a lighter shade of brown. What can I say, these are the most stylish Chukka boots you can buy at this price range by far and I absolutely adore them. Usually Goodyear welted shoes with rubber soles can look a bit heavy on the eye. With the Tomir sole, these look very streamlined and classy. The materials are top notch. Particularly the suede used is of the highest quality, very short reverse nap, it feels silky smooth. A clear step on quality when compared to other shoes I own from other brands at this price range. It is also surprisingly hard wearing. They take the rain very well and they dry out and leave no marks at all. Perhaps one of the best things about them is how easy they are to keep looking great, literally a 2 min job! I've worn mine for more than 2 years in all sorts of weather conditions and surfaces and their appearance is no different to brand new. Much less wear on the soles than expected, compared to other rubber sole high quality shoes I own. These boots put a smile on my face whenever I wear them. The star of my weekend wardrobe. What a joy to own and use.
