JODHPUR KLEID BOOTS 865 FOREST

I've now had the opportunity to wear these for about 72h of walking around, and I'm very impressed. Right out of the box I've never seen fit and finish, stitch density, leather grain quality, or attention to detail that even comes anywhere close at this price point or for that matter much more expensive price points. I took a chance and got the added metal toe inserts on a blind guess in size and fit making them unreturnable. Initially I thought I'd made a mistake as my heel was lifting a bit. Wrong. Within 24h if walking about, the leather has molded to my feat and the boots are more comfortable than my well worn RM Williams Chelseas. It would be nice if there was an option of brass for the toes though. Also of note, the Vegano calf takes one hell of a shine with almost no work. Only minor complaints are: 1. They arrived a bit lighter than I'd have hoped from the picture, and 2. The finish and leather treatment certainly didn't resist water spotting out of the box. These "faults" are turning in to a bit of a blessing though as, with a bit of work and some care products and Carmina products, I've actually got the beginnings of a bit of a lovely patina.
