This shoe, like all Carmina products, is carefully handcrafted by expert artisans who follow the same techniques conceived by Charles Goodyear in 1869.
For this model, we have chosen our Madison 20 last. It has a round toe shape, versatile in style as it works well for both elegant and semi-sporty models.
MADISON 20
We consider madison the queen of our lasts for women. On the one hand, it is our bestseller last and on the other hand it has a great sentimental value since it was the first last we developed for ladies. The creation of a Goodyear welted shoes for women seemed almost impossible to achieve at the beginning, however, after years of testing we managed to make women's shoes with a feminine appearance. This last is very spacious in the toe area and instep. In addition, it has a very stylized shape that makes it ideal for both double monk shoes and military-style boots.

Funchal
Funchal is a full grain French leather of the highest quality calf leathers. Funchal leathers are given their final colour and finish at the tannery. They also undergo a special process in which the leather is softened and given a matter finish.

Silver are thicker soles with greater texture than the York and Tomir soles. They also cover and protect the complete sole which make them perfect for laced shoes worn on rainier days or cobblestoned streets. Silver are great options for boots.
