Classic lace-up wingtip Oxford in brown vegano & brown lama. Finished with a bark-tanned leather sole from Rendenbach Jr. and calf lining. Featuring a medallion design on the toe.
This shoe, like all the other Carmina´s, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869.
For style, we have chosen the Forest last, offering a comfortable fitting with normal instep. It is also characterised for being wide on the toes and the heel. Detroit was one ofthe first lasts created by the house. It is a classic, relaxed and timeless style.

FOREST
Forest is Carmina’s most archetypal and early last. With its classic and timeless design, this last seems to resist the course of time. In fact, it is the favourite last for the Albaladejo family. Proof of this is the fact that, 15 years after it was released, it is still one of the most popular lasts. Rounded toe, regular instep and more room across the forepart.

Vegano leather
Vegano leather still consists of calf skin. The difference with boxcalf skin is that it is not given the final finish in the tannery. Therefore, the brightness and the final colour is more flexible and can be modified by clients. If you would like to create patinas, burnishing, mirror shines... this leather will offer perfect results.

Lama leather
Despite its name, lama is still a calf leather. The pattern of the skin is produced by shrinking this material during the tanning process. Tumbled leather is generally top grain leather that has been spun in a machine with a bunch of small stones. This process loosens the fibres, brings out the leather’s natural grain and gives it a soft, semi-sheen surface. It is a very comfortable skin that is used both for loafers and for ladies shoes.

This is our most elegant option for dress shoes. It is a high-quality leather sole. This sole is stamped with the Carmina logo, which actually represents a medallion. Our leather soles are made in-house with high quality leather.
