Product description
Unlined Penny loafers in navy kudu.Finished with a leather sole in a refined blake construction. This style is assembled on our Xim last. They feature a rounded tip which make them perfect for loafers styles.Kudu is an antelope from southern Africa, whose skins have unique characteristics. This interesting finished leather is soft suede on the reverse side and a nubuck on the grain side. The fibre structure is well suited to our calf suede, resulting in a strikingly soft touch on the suede side, whilst maintaining a high degree of strength. On the grain side, there are interesting natural blemishes which have been highlighted by processing the skin as a nubuck. There are scars and cuts on both sides, which are more superficial than structural. However, these characteristics make a unique casual appearance.
More inspiration #Carmina
Lasts are one of Carmina Shoemaker’s milestones. It is precisely in the creative process of the last where the mastery and technique of the shoemaker are combined with an exhaustive study of ergonomics and beauty to create an elegant and comfortable shoe. It is therefore the perfect communion of these elements what constitutes the starting point and the aim of any shoemaker. Therefore, the last becomes one of the shoemaker’s most distinctive elements.
