Longwing derby shoes in tanned (pompei finish) vegano. Finished with storm-welted doable Silver sole and full calf lining. With a refined Goodyear welt-construction. This shoe, just like all the other Carmina's, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869. For style, we have chosen the Detroit last, offering a comfortable fitting with a normal instep. It is also characterized for being wide on the toes and the heel. Detroit was one of the first lasts created by the house, a classic, relaxed and timeless style.
DETROIT
Detroit is our American inspired last, with a slightly squared toe and a roomier instep and toe area. A comfortable and sturdy choice, perfect for casual models. It pairs perfectly well with rubber soles and thick welts. In addition, it is one of the oldest lasts in the house with many models hand drawn over it and a timeless result.

Vegano leather
Vegano leather still consists of calf skin. The difference with boxcalf skin is that it is not given the final finish in the tannery. Therefore, the brightness and the final colour is more flexible and can be modified by clients. If you would like to create patinas, burnishing, mirror shines... this leather will offer perfect results.

Silver are thicker soles with greater texture than the York and Tomir soles. They also cover and protect the complete sole which make them perfect for laced shoes worn on rainier days or cobblestoned streets. Silver are great options for boots.
