Elbamat is a very special calf leather distinctive for its thickness and greased effect. Tumbled leather is generally top grain leather that has been spun in a machine with a bunch of small stones. This process loosens the fibres, brings out the leather’s natural grain and gives it a soft, semi-sheen surface. This makes it perfect for sportier models since it is very resistant to scratching. We recommend this leather for military boots, chukkas and even jumper boots.

We recommend periodic shoecare routines to preserve the leather finish and colour.

  • Firstly, insert your shoetrees and brush your shoes to remove any dirt or dust. We would recommend brushing your shoes with a regular brush that would not scratch the surface of your leather. Since this leather has a greased finish, we would not recommend applying any creams or waxes unless they are extremely dry.
