This shoe, like all the other Carmina's, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869.
For this style, we have chosen the Simpson last, one of our best-sellers. Simpson offers a semi-squared tip and a long and narrow appearance. Perfect for elegant and smart looks. As it is one of our narrowest lasts, we recommend to upload at least half a size. In case of doubts, please contact our team.
SIMPSON
Simpson is the sister last of the Rain, and one of the most popular lasts. This last was conceived as a fashionable last. However, it was designed to be a timeless last that did not have excessive features. It has an elongated forepart and a fine squared-off toe, and fitting is slightly narrower at the toe area when compared to the Rain. This last is usually the best choice for more elegant models, and it is often manufactured with a plain leather sole. Compared to our other lasts, we describe it as a narrow last in E width. Clients usually tend to go up half a size in comparison to their usual Carmina size.

Boxcalf leather
Boxcalf leather is one of our most popular leathers. Specially for men's dress shoes. We only select the highest quality calf leathers which is sourced from the Tannerie D'Annonay. We also source our black boxcalf from the German Weinheimer tannery. Boxcalf leathers are given their final colour and shine at the tannery which will improve with time and develop a lovely patina.

This is our most elegant option for dress shoes. It is a high-quality leather sole. This sole is stamped with the Carmina logo, which actually represents a medallion. Our leather soles are made in-house with high quality leather.
