Classic five eyelet plain toe blucher in Brown repello, featuring a Country sole from LACTAE HEVEA® in a unique sole that will provide great comfort and cushioning.
This shoe, like all the othe Carmina´s, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869.
For style, we have chosen the Calvià last. A round military styled last. it was designed to be very comfortable especially for its width and short vamp.

Repello is a quality suede, recommended for casual shoes. It is usually selected for shoes with a lot of use since it is more durable. In this case, the hide is split and aniline dyed to create a velvety effect on both sides of the leather.

Country
The hevea tree is cultivated in the large tropical plantations of Asia. Hevea milk is harvested by making narrow incisions on the tree’s bark. The milk would eventually pour out of these. Once harvested, this pure virgin milk is refined to create a unique sole filled with tiny air bubbles that offer exceptional levels of comfort. The process used to make the LACTAE HEVEA® sole is unique, It is in fact very similar to the production of cheese: The milk is poured into the moulds, thickened, baked and cured. It is characterised by its comfort and cushioning and features a rubber heel which makes the shoes less flat than the aspen option.
