Balmoral captoe boot in brown Box calf / Rusticalf. F
Featuring a subtle punched straight cap and finished with a bark-tanned double leather sole from Rendenbach Jr. with a Goodyear welt-construction and calf lining.
This shoe, like all the other Carmina´s, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869.
This style is assembled on the Forest last, one of the house's oldest lasts. Rounded at the tip, smooth fitting with normal instep and generous space at the front.
FOREST
Forest is Carmina’s most archetypal and early last. With its classic and timeless design, this last seems to resist the course of time. In fact, it is the favourite last for the Albaladejo family. Proof of this is the fact that, 15 years after it was released, it is still one of the most popular lasts. Rounded toe, regular instep and more room across the forepart.

Boxcalf leather is one of our most popular leathers. Specially for men's dress shoes. We only select the highest quality calf leathers which is sourced from the Tannerie D'Annonay. We also source our black boxcalf from the German Weinheimer tannery. Boxcalf leathers are given their final colour and shine at the tannery which will improve with time and develop a lovely patina.

Our family manufactures all shoes on the island of Mallorca since 1866. Mallorca is located in the center of the Mediterranean Sea and is our source of inspiration for all our designs. The city of Inca is well known for the leather industry and has always been a reference in the quality footwear sector. Our artisans manufacture leather shoes that are then shipped throughout the world.

Beautifully soft leather with elegant silhouette perfectly matched to the small element of character the brogueing brings. Takes a high-polish extremely well and the leather creases nicely. The double JR veg tanned sole is sturdy but not cumbersome and generally the stitching is immaculate. Beautiful touch on the brass toe nails for duration as is the full leather heal-stack. For the price point this is an excellent purchase. Some small plastic wrapping remaining on welt from manufacture but easily removed and a minor issue if an issue at all. Excellent boot for the price point--highly recommended for something slightly different while enduringly classic.
