Featuring a bark-tanned leather sole from Rendenbach Jr. in a refined Goodyear welt-construction and calf lining.
This shoe, like all the other Carmina´s, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869.
Style made on soft chiseled Rain last. The last offers verstaility in style since it perfectlly works for both elegant and semi sport looks. It is a semi-squared last with a standard fitting.

With a subtly squared-off toe and regular fitting both in the instep and toe area, its proportions make it ideal for casual models with an elegant look. Shell Cordovan is a staple material of fine men’s shoemaking. Shell cordovan looks smooth, lustrous, and richly coloured in shades of burgundy, brown, and black. Rendenbach
Oak-bark tanned leather sole from John. Rendenbach ("JR") in Germany. Because of the tight grain of an oak-bark tanned leather soles, they wear longer and require more infrequent replacing. Leather with the JR-Brand label is waterproof and extremely abrasion resistant, tough yet flexible, very comfortable to wear and optically distinguished by its attractive grain and warm, woody colour.

Most attractive about Carmina and this pair in particular is the aesthetic. How beautiful they are in all dimensions! The shoes are lively and speak for themselves! Carmina is by far my favorite brand and no shoes I have reviewed so far can compare to Carmina. Absolutely high quality and beautiful shoes. Work of art without saying~
